Establishing the Medium- to Long-term Vision for Japan-Vietnam Agricultural Cooperation - Industry creation in Lam Dong’s agriculture sector

“The Medium- to Long-term Vision for Japan-Vietnam Agricultural Cooperation” set forth the action plan engaging public and private sectors over 5 years (2015-2019) in model zones towards food value chain development goals. The vision is updated as needed to reflect the progress of efforts taken in model regions as defined in the Japan-Vietnam agriculture minister talks.

In alignment with the medium- to long-term vision “Best Hub of High-Value Added Agriculture in Southeast Asia,” DI helped set 4 ultimate goals for Lam Dong Province, namely the “No.1 Agricultural HR Center in Vietnam Highlands,” “No.1 Brand in Vietnam,” “No.1 Agro-Tourism Site in Vietnam”, and “No.1 Production Hub to Japan.” To achieve these strategic planning goals, DI formulated 8 strategies to steer the province’s agricultural development.

DI worked with Dentsu to support Lam Dong Province in branding and promotion activities for agricultural products and agro-tourism to implement the master planning goals.
