Social impact bonds (“SIBs”) are an innovative outcome-based financing scheme that governments across the globe use to mobilize private capital to tackle some of the most pressing social challenges. The report below aims to provide a brief overview of SIB based on our studies conducted over 2 years.

Launching a SIB fund and forming a public-private partnership with Toyota City (Japan) to deliver services aimed at increasing social participation opportunities for healthy seniors in town are representative examples of DI’s initiatives concerning social impact and sustainability.
