Kazu is a Director at DI SEA and a strategy consultant in Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia) and Japan. His practice is focused on developing new startups, market entry and business expansion strategies in a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, insurance, pharma, and automotive in Southeast Asia and Japan markets. Before his current posting in Vietnam, he was a venture capitalist in India with a wealth of experience and knowledge in startup investment and incubation.

• At DI Tokyo, Kazu was a strategy consultant that assisted Japanese businesses to venture into areas such as healthcare, renewable energy, manufacturing, and automotive sectors.

• At DI India, Kazu served as a venture capitalist engaging in fundraising, business due diligence, investment and incubation processes for Indian healthcare startups.

• After DI Tokyo, Kazu becomes DI SEA Director stationed at the Vietnam office. He leads social impact projects in collaboration with JICA to provide various support packages to start-ups in Vietnam, Indonesia, Bangladesh, and India.

• Kazu graduated with a master's degree in Nuclear Physics from the University of Tokyo, Japan.
